Existing Reservations
Upon clicking "Book Reservation," the booking process is complete. A confirmation number will immediately display on the screen and an email confirmation will be sent to the address you provided within 30 minutes of making your reservation.
At any time before submitting your reservation, you can select "Edit” under “Selected Dates and Details” within the "Reservation Summary" section on the right side of the page.
You may review or modify your reservation online using your first name, last name, and reservation confirmation number or log into your World of Hyatt account. Your details will be sent securely. Some reservations may not be retrievable online. If you have problems retrieving your reservation, please contact us.

Payment and Cancellation
In some cases, a deposit will be charged prior to your arrival at the hotel. Guarantee policies vary by hotel. If the Hyatt hotel where you are staying requires a credit card deposit, your credit card will be charged as soon as the hotel can process it.
To determine whether your credit card will be charged prior to your arrival, please read the cancellation and deposit policy that displays as you make your reservation online. This information displays immediately below the credit card number field. It may also be seen by following these steps:

- Select check-in and check-out dates
- Select the number for rooms
- Select the number of adults and children in your party
- Click "Find Hotels"

A credit card is required for all reservations made via hyatt.com. For your protection, the reservation processing is handled on a secured server that encrypts your credit card information.

Canceling / Changing an Online Reservation
Reservations that have been guaranteed with a credit card and/or deposit are held for you until arrival. If you do not arrive at the hotel on your scheduled arrival date, cancellation policies will apply.

Best Rate Guarantee
Yes, unless otherwise noted, normal World of Hyatt benefits will apply for any reservation booked with Hyatt as part of a valid Best Rate Guarantee Claim.
If your claim is found to be valid, Hyatt will then match the competing rate, plus you may select one of two Best Rate Guarantee Rewards: either 5,000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points or an additional 20% discount on your matched room rate. If selected, the 5,000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points will be deposited in your account within one week after checkout.
Hyatt is rewarding guests that find a qualifying lower rate for a participating hotel through a third party by matching the rate and offering one of two Best Rate Guarantee rewards: either 5,000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points or a 20% discount on the rate. All claims must be submitted within 24 hours of booking on Hyatt.com and meet the Hyatt.com Best Rate Guarantee Terms. In particular, please note, Hyatt’s Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to claims submitted within 24 hours of first available check-in time for the related reservation.
When you submit a Best Rate Guarantee claim, you will be asked to provide the URL where you found the lower room rate. If submitting your claim online, you may also include screenshots of the lower room rate on the third-party site. A representative will attempt to validate the availability of the lower rate, and verify it complies with the Hyatt Best Rate Guarantee Terms. Differences in rates due to resort or destination fees, which may or may not be listed on third-party websites, are not eligible under Hyatt's Best Rate Guarantee. Hyatt reserves the right to deny a Claim from third-party websites displaying unauthorized rates.
All claims will be handled and responded to within 24 hours of submission. The representative reviewing your Best Rate Guarantee claim will review the website where the lower rate was found and ensure it is for the same hotel, same type of room, same number of guests, same dates of stay, same length of stay, same guarantee and cancellation policy, and be booked under the same conditions and meets the Hyatt Best Rate Guarantee Terms. If the claim qualifies, Hyatt will match the competing rate and honor your selection of the Best Rate Guarantee reward.
When comparing room rates between Hyatt and other sites, if you find a lower qualifying room rate than what is offered on Hyatt.com, simply submit an online claim form or call your a Hyatt Global Care Center. A representative will review your claim and respond with the status within 24 hours. To qualify, the competing rate must be for the same hotel, same type of room, same number of guests, same dates of stay, same length of stay, same guarantee and cancellation policy, and be booked under the same conditions. The lower rate must meet the Hyatt Best Rate Guarantee Terms to qualify (available here). Differences in rates due to resort or destination fees, which may or may not be listed on third-party websites, are not eligible under Hyatt's Best Rate Guarantee.

Yes, in order to submit a claim, you must first have a confirmed reservation booked with Hyatt.com that is for the same hotel, same type of room, same number of guest, same dates of stay, same length of stay, same guarantee and cancellation policy, and be booked under the same conditions as the third party site. The lower rate must meet the Hyatt Best Rate Guarantee Terms to qualify.
Once selected, a Best Rate Guarantee reward may not be changed.
Yes, unless otherwise noted in the rate, reservations made with Hyatt that are found to be a valid Best Rate Guarantee claim are eligible for earning Base Points per eligible dollar paid upon check out and qualify toward tier status.
The Hyatt Best Rate Guarantee only applies to the total room rate. It does not apply to any taxes, service charges, gratuities, or other fees. Please note that some jurisdictions require room rates include applicable taxes, resort fees, and/or other fees. If they do, only competing rates that include such applicable taxes, fees, and/or other fees will be considered when evaluating a claim.
